Elective 1: Food Technology

Recognising the richness that a healthy relationship with food adds to quality of life, the Food Technology course is practically focused, with a significant amount of time dedicated to preparing delicious food in the school’s fabulously equipped industrial kitchen. Skills are developed for life, whether working in a commercial kitchen or cooking at home. Alongside opportunities to develop their skills in meal preparation, students will increase their knowledge of nutrition and the cultural features and consumption patterns linked to food.
